New Orleans, LA
This was a mostly-for-pleasure trip for my mom and me for mother’s day. We’d both been avidly wanting to visit New Orleans, so we decided to do so together. I got a great recommendation from a friend about a place to stay, so we booked and prepared to enjoy our little butts off.

We walked everywhere, drank at a ton of pubs, ate a variety of foods, saw both planned and impromptu music performances, bought some art, enjoyed the houses, and avoided Bourbon Street as best we could. (Royal Street was our favorite, to be honest.) We even hosted a cat in our room for a night! Mom and I wrapped up our trip by laying low at our hostel and playing “Cards Against Humanity”. It was the perfect way to decompress and share some quality time with the woman who gave me life.

While I was there I did encounter someone who ended up becoming a client, so, remember kids: sometimes play becomes work. (In a good a way, of course.)

I am available for travel re: photo sessions and web design. Also, these photos are available for purchase in 4×6″, 5×7″ and up to 8×12″, and a few are customizable as grayscale, sepia, and watercolor. Contact me for more information and pricing.
