We were so blessed to be with “family” who took such great care of us. Anywhere we wanted to go in Stockholm, we went. They also took us to a couple of other fun places: their family’s summer homes! (Which is a thing in a lot of European countries. Ahem.)
I truly can’t believe how much we were able to pack into nine days. A lot of walking, a lot of public transportation, some wonderful food, and a ton of relaxation.
Mom and I particularly enjoyed the Vasa Museum, which you absolutely must make a point to visit if you are ever in Stockholm. And I also loved the Fotografiska, where I did not take any pictures out of respect for my fellow photographers. At the time, there was a Bryan Adams installation, and one on the gentrification of places where wild animals once were and should still be. Fascinating, disturbing, and beautiful.
I am available for travel photo sessions with real estate brokers/agents, hotels, restaurants, bars, and businesses; in fact it is one of my specialties. These photographs are available for print in 4×6″, 5×7″, and up to 8×12″, and some are customizable as grayscale, sepia, and watercolor. Contact me for more information and pricing.
